The Nonconformist Marriage: Polyamory

In any relationship, you always have the freedom to make your own rules because every marriage is different along with the individuals. However, polyamory (marriage with benefits) is taking that freedom to a whole new level. Is it entirely corrupting a marital union to practice polyamory?

?

There are couples that are married, and in love, who actually date other people openly. You could be married and have additional relationships on the side. Polyamorous couples are daunted by the restriction of exploration, and never want one another to see their spouse as a trap.

?

It is common that polyamorous spouses are completely open about their relationships outside the marriage. Any hurt feelings or jealousy of an external relationship are expressed and communicated freely.

?

In many polyamorous marriages, they will only seek extracurricular relationships with other polyamories. This way, they keep the non-traditional marriage from damaging any other traditional or monogamous marriages.

?

The polyamorous couples feel as if there are relieving a hindrance that negatively affects traditional marriages. Have you ever viewed your spouse as a trap that is keeping you from exploring? How would you feel about ?committing? to a polyamorous union?
