7 Chinese Warships Sail Off Okinawa Pref. Island Amid Senkaku Spat

TOKYO (Kyodo)--Seven Chinese navy warships sailed through waters between Okinawa Island and Miyako Island in Okinawa Prefecture on Thursday in the first passage of Chinese warships in the waters since Japan nationalized the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea last month, the Defense Ministry said.
