Back in March we wondered aloud whether the 16-room home at 327 S La Grange Rd could boast of having the best front porch in La Grange.
At the time the home was listed for $989,000 and described as priced "below appraised value."
What we failed to note at the time was that the home was also listed for sale by owner at an asking price of $1,200,000. It sold for $905,000 last month, but the FSBO listing is still active.
If you're confused by this, don't be. It's fairly common for owners to attempt to sell on their own, fail in their efforts, list the property with a real estate agent ? and neglect to update their FSBO ads to reflect the agent listing.
